Chef Amarilys Colon

At La Padrona, the rustic charm of Italy meets the vibrant spirit of New England. Set inside Raffles Boston in Back Bay, our kitchen draws from Emilia-Romagna, Piedmont, Tuscany and Puglia, then turns to the terroir around us — the freshest catch of the sea, tender cuts of locally sourced meats, handmade pasta. The name honors the matron of the table: the woman who oversees the kitchen and welcomes every guest as her own. That warmth shapes both floors — travertine, walnut and brass in the ground-floor lounge; sultry merlot walls, marquee lighting and Hollywood booths in the dining room above. Owned and operated by A Street Hospitality partners Eric Papachristos, Jon Mendez and Chef Jody Adams, with the kitchen led by Executive Chef Amarilys Colon, a 2026 James Beard Award semifinalist for Best Chef: Northeast. Michelin recommended and named to The New York Times' Best Places in America Right Now, 2025.
